Reman 9mm question
There's so much ammo buying, selling, trading going on right now, I want to know something. Is it proper, legal for an individual to offer remanufactured 9mm ammunition for sale or trade on this platform, gunbroker, etc. ? And if so, what exactly qualifies as remanufactured? I've seen plenty of reman by LAX, Freedom Munitions, Ammo Bros, Georgia Arms, etc. but there's also some at gunshows that are in plain jane sealed cardboard 1k cases. What about buying one of those plain jane cases and then deciding to sell it, trade it, etc. -what's the correct and legal manner to go about this?

It can be done legally.
The Federal Law
Just an FYI of what is required to make and sell ammo legally
Type 06 FFL – Manufacturer of Ammunition for Firearms
This is a very specific sort of FFL. It is only for making common small arms ammunition, and nothing else. If you want to just make ammo, this license is fine. Otherwise, you can get a Class 07 and make both guns and ammo
In addition you have to meet whatever state and local cides, taxes and fire codes.
As a,side note only factory ammo and reloads can be listed here at Bayoushooter.Last edited by 340six; March 1st, 2021 at 11:11 AM.
