Well, decided to give it a try. EZ-PZ mounting, dialed in after a few clicks E&W using a Laser Bore Sighter @ 7 yards to start.

Don't believe need to spend more $$$$!

    Your thoughts please.

On a .22lr Pistol, you probably don't need to spend more. However, I've never heard of ADE and at the price point, you could purchase a Bushnell RXS-100. I would spend the extra $20 and get the Bushnell just for peace of mind, knowing that Bushnell will warranty it. To be fair to the discussion, we're also talking about optics for a .22lr pistol that won't be used for defensive purposes. That ADE optic won't fit on any optics ready slides for 9mm and larger pistols.

The ADE RD3-011A is identical to the RMR foot print. As such it should fit the optics ready pistols and they offer a dove tail mount and do fit my Glock G21/G30.

Although it has an auto shut off at 1 hour....don't believe I'd use it for EDC. But for a fun gun with the 22mm x 33mm sight picture at $70 looks good to me.

    Thanks for your input.

I have a similar ADE model RD3-006B-1, green dot mounted on a SW22 Victory and have never had any problems with it. I'm with you guys, don't think I'd use it for a defensive handgun, but for a range gun/plinker it's very accurate and a lot of fun.
