WTB: Ruger 10/22 or similar

I am looking for a little .22 plinker for the range for my girlfriend. All I ask is that it is semi auto and can accept magazines. I am looking preferably in NOLA area or Slidell area.

Optics are not a must, but a plus.

Do you have a Glock or 1911?

You could get a .22lr conversion from http://www.advantagearms.com/ and get her pistol skills up for self defense.

Nope, but a glock is on my order list when I turn 21...unless I can find a good used one.

As for the conversion, she is anti guns really but she enjoys coming to the range with me just because she knows it is something I like to do. Maybe one of these days she will come over to my side and start to really like guns.
