Just saw this on another forum.

It mentions Hwy 61 where Derrick T. Lee lived but I thought that house was up by St. Francisville. Maybe he moved there from New Orleans??

Lee lived in that house up on the hill , just past the Truckstop on Hwy 61 at Thompsons Creek . I knew the family that owned the house prior ( Shelton ) and had been there a few times .

Thought that it was cool on the finale last night that when he got home, he didn't contact the others from his unit for 35 years or so. Then just showed up at a reunion.

There are GREAT behind the scenes on ALL of the featured Marines on Cox On Demand. If you go under Pacific, you will find not only all episodes to record if needed, but MANY bio's on Eugene Sledge, Lucky, V.R. Burgin, et al.

Those were just as awesome as the episodes imo.
