overall better prices than the last show in gonzalas. but as i was leaving from i-10 i saw cabala's had a ammo sale. i found 9mm steel case 50 round boxes for $8.99 and steel case 20 round boxes of 5.56mm and 7.62x39mm for $3.99(im pretty sure). those are individual box prices, it actually cost more if you buy a 500 round pack. 
and i did buy some estate 12ga 2 3/4" 00 buckshot for $15/25 round box. i always used estate bird shot for small game hunting and never had any problems so im guessing the buckshot is good enough for home defense?
at the gunshow there are some guys from texas i bought speer gold dot 9mm 147gr for $33/50 rounds. i thought that was pretty good.
can we open carry at cabela's? if so does this extend to long guns? can i walk in there with a loaded mossberg or ak47? i ask cause i saw someone walking around with an ar15 type gun with a drum barrel. i know i should have asked while i was there but im just thinking about it now.
