Terrorist robs bank in Spain, takes two hostages and trades them for a motorcycle for his get away. Amazing police device stops them exactly where they want them. Amazing footage.

Could you imagine how the media would be bashing the police if something like that happened here? The BG would sue and probably have the charges dropped.

I can only imagine the lawsuit against the city/state if it happened in the US.... He'll be let go, with a million bucks for his injuries and police butality, even though he is a terrorist...

If that happened here, he would sue the police force for more than he robbed the bank for.

I think this is good though. If they had that here, I bet some people would think twice before robbing the bank....maybe.

IMO if you (as a criminal) endanger lives, you should have yours endangered too.

There was a video on Youtube where a guy runs from cops all over, nearly kills many people, and the cops kick him in the jugular one swift time when they finally catch him. I see nothing wrong with that.

Despite the recent defeatist attitude of their national gov't, the Spanish can still get pretty rough when they want to.;)

Totally against theft of any sort, but I think that may be a bit overkill :eek3:. Why just not do a spike strip?

The end result is about the same, although the face plant isn't quite so pronounced. It's also probably a bit difficult to spike a bike in comparison with a car-- lot less to aim for, and they evade much easier.
