Anybody have any experience with their customer service department? My video card died about a week ago. I went ahead and replaced it to get my computer functional but I'd like the old card replaced to put in my daughter's computer. It was an ATI 2600XT. I sent in a warranty request almost a week ago and it still shows as 'not viewed' and I'm getting po'd. I sent a second request, then started another repair order and still no response.

you will not be happy with my story but suffice to say I will be very surprised if you get a response at all and if you do, it will be months!

Diamond is a crap company, they couldn't give 2 shits about you after you buy their product. For that matter, ATI won't help you either. I had a Diamond X800XTPE that died, it's been 2 years now and I haven't seen a response.

If you want a good card from a good company, buy from XFXforce.

I've always used ATI cards and have never had a problem. I usually buy the retail white box though. This was my first time buying a 'name brand'.
I was desperate to get my computer running (since I was having laptop problems at the same time!). I bought a sapphire 4670 for now.

Always always always make sure your chipsets match.

Nvidia chipset board goes with Nvidia Video cards.

    I think ATI is junk.

Nvidia is the way to go.
