What are the requirements for a LEO to get Retired LE plates for a vehicle?
I know a guy that has them on everything he owns and from what I've been told he didn't work anywhere very long.
Even when his bimbo young daughter got her first car it had a retired LEO plate.
Can't even count how many Blue Line stickers and plates he has.

From memory, which is not very good I think you need a minimum of 12 years full time as a LEO to be considered Retired LEO.

Why you would want one is beyond me. Pretty much a Key the **** out of My Car sign. Same with those blue line stickers.

They dont get you or your family out of anything either.

If you knew this guy you would understand.:D

He's got them because his whole family drives like the are crazy and he thinks it will get him a get out of jail card.

Yeah, I always figured they were about as effective as one of those LA Sheriff Assoc. stickers. And obviously the more you put on your back window, the better they must work right?

I was talking to a Trooper buddy the other day about the Blue Line stickers. He said he stopped a kid that had made a left turn on red. The truck's window's were blacked out and it had a blue line sticker. The kid put the window down and told him (with attitude) his daddy worked for EBRSO.
My buddy asked if had a DL, got the DL went back to his unit and wrote the ticket.
He said you should have seen the kid's face when he gave him the ticket to sign. :bravo:

    LSP and Akajun are correct.

I wouldn't be caught dead with ANY LEO related decals or accoutrements.

Nor would I have a "retired law enforcement" license plate!

Any why the hell do some cops insist on putting more blue lights in their personal ride than their unit has????

And, good shot at the fabled freedom fighter on the other board. You actually shut that clown up... I'm impressed. ;)

    .

He didn't go away, probably just at his compound getting ready for the next round. Talking to Tim McVeigh's ghost.

I hide my LE ID in my wallet . Why do people want to "SHINE" ? But when the s--t hits the fan you can't find them. All about appearance and no substance.
