are you sure that's a Weatherby. It looks exactly like a Parker Hale. I've never known a Weatherby to Have the crossover bolt exposed, and the rollover cheekpiece is typical Parker Hale. PLEASE CLARIFY

Thanks, if it's a Weatherby deluxe MK V, I'll take it. Most likely it's a Parker Hale in 7mm rem or 7mm wby. Please send more pics to
    coltaholic@yahoo.com.
    thanks.

By the way, If it is a Parker Hale, it is a very high quality English rifle, and well worth 500 bucks. Someone will jump on it

Looking more closely, that is a Mauser action, so it is possible it is a very early Weatherby---made in the 50's please let me know.

I took the pics of the gun, it belongs to my dad. When he bought it, he was told it was a Weatherby. After pulling the scope off, it was discovered that the gun is actually a Parker - Hale. We honestly have no idea what it's worth and i cant find any info online. now that the scope is off, i'll post more pics in just a few mins.

    Parker Hale

The Parker Hale is a very fine rifle made in England. the model in the picture is the model 1200 Super Magnum. It IS a VERY FINE rifle, equal to the Weatherby in most respects, easily worth $550. I own one in 300 win mag, and I've owned a 30-06 as well. Any of you guys out ther wanting a superb looking and great shooting rifle, grab this up before i risk a ton of wifely grief and buy it myself
