    I shot this last night. The chic had never held a gun in her life but you can't tell from this shot. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of her. :)

    The threat is down. Finger goes back straight.

    But she's gotta be pointing it theoretically at another target. Buuut it's just a picture of a beautiful woman with guns. No need to really read much farther than that. Great shot though. I swear I thought it was on the old pier. Never would have expected it to be a studio shot.

    I've been trained both ways. Louis Awerbuck trains to put your finger on the trigger when aiming at a target. Other instructors have trained to keep your finger straight while threatening the target and only put your finger on the trigger when the decision has been made to shoot.

    I prefer the latter method.

    When we photographed Sherman Hemsley we decided to put the fingers on the triggers because his character was a gangster and theoretically not professionally trained:
