    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
    (1)

Reliable SEMI-AUTOMATIC carbine/rifle with ADJUSTABLE IRON SIGHTS. (NOTE: It is okay to

bring rifles equipped with low-powered scopes (like ACOGs) or dot sights (like Eotechs or Aimpoints). If
you bring a scope make sure the minimum power setting is 4X or lower. Even a 4X scope will hurt your
speed on 7-yard CQB because you will be “searching” for heads and spine boxes in your scope. Rifle
    rentals are available.)
    (2)

    Rifle SLING.

    (3)

Reliable HANDGUN (Semi-automatic or revolver. Handgun rentals are also available.)

    (4)

600 rounds of ammunition for your rifle and 100 rounds for your handgun.

    (5)

A minimum of THREE magazines for your rifle and TWO for your handgun.

    (6)

STRONG-SIDE HIP or TACTICAL THIGH HOLSTER that will retain your handgun when running.

    (7)

MAGAZINE POUCHES that will hold at least TWO rifle mags and ONE handgun mag. (Pouches may

go on either a belt or vest.)
    (8)

WATER, GATORADE or other non-alcoholic drink.
    (9) EYE and EAR PROTECTION.

No, I know him well, though. I am a Range Safety Officer out there, and he is a member of Louisiana Carry. I have done multi-day training out at LRA, but none that happen to have been taught by him personally.

Tempting... Very tempting... I'm gonna have to look VERY closely at my budget to see if I can fit this and the Tiger McKee Carbine course, and if not decide which I want to do. I know I am gonna go to one, but which???

Is there a posted schedule for the rest of the year for both instructors? I work offshore and seems the schedule is conflicting with work schedule, so plannings a bitch. Would love to take a carbine course.

At what point can I begin taking the courses? I was in the Army Infantry and went through Air Assault School. Do I need more training before I get back into this. I was in 1998 and out in 2001. I have an AR-15 with iron sights, red dot sights, and a cheap 4x scope.
