    I have a 940 and a 1917

The .45 needs the tool to take the rounds out the clips

    The 9mm doesn't

have you ever shot them few .356tsw rounds in it glad they made it to shoot 9mm because you can't find ammo brass are dies are anything for that .356tsw

    An old thread, but interesting.
I have three 1-7/8" 637-2 Airweight J-frames converted to .38Sp/.357Mag titanium cylinders to reduce empty weight to 12.5 oz and reamed for 9x19mm and moonclips.

    I use 147gr jhp at 946fps for 292 ft-lb muzzle energy.
Ammo swages to fill the grooves, and accuracy is fine (better than me). Recoil is brisk.

For convenience, I carry an extra three moonclips in a Walmart pill bottle for 3 quick reloads. A short 12 point 3/8" box end wrench makes a convenient deloading tool for the moonclips.

I did this conversion for ammo commonality with my Kimber Micro 9 and T-series Browning Hi-Power, and am happy with the results.

I would like to see pics of these guns... I had a "crappy" Taurus 9mm revo a while ago that had issues with a poorly cast frame. I would like to give 9mm in a revo a try again

Well don’t worry, you’ll be able to look back on this and tell your grandkids that you were a hero. That back in the days of web forums in 2016 you were bullied and you survived!

even if you had an extra cylinder you could convert to 9mm,your going to have accuracy issues...major accuracy issues. The bore of your 442 is rifled for .38 special, not 9mm

Since per Saami spec, the land and groove diameters of the. .38Sp, the.357 Mag, and the 9mm are identical at .346 & .355, what is the reason for the reduced accuracy? I've converted three 637-2 j-frames to 9mm and have not noticed any reduction in accuracy.
