Years ago dad had a pair eating the eggs and baby ducks on the duck farm he worked on and bet my brother I could get them with his old S&W 10-8 that night.

My attic last year. The clever thing had lifted some loose shingles on the edge of my roof and chewed a hole underneath. It used the shingles as a flap to cover the opening. I couldn't find how it was getting in until I put the trail camera in the attic.

Use Coyote Pee, you can order it on the web. Apply it around the perimeter of the attic AWAY from the entry point. Put a couple strips of duct tape over the entry point so that when she leaves you will see fur on the tape and close up the hole. Don’t recommend traps in the attic. An adult male in a trap will likely roll and could cause damage up there. Equally, trapped young will stress out the mom and damage will result.
