I have 1300 acres in Sharkey county on the east side of 61 Hwy near Cary Ms. I've had this property for 8 years and the surounding land is also managing for mature animals. The land is flat ground and has been in the WRP program for the past 9 years. There are plenty of deer and hogs on the property. I do not have a camphouse but there is cheap lodging ($45 per night) about 5 miles from the property in Rolling Fork, MS. We will have no more than 5 members. The property is 2 miles deep and 1 mile wide with another 350 acres across the access road (for a total of 1300). The property is best suited to gun hunting as there are not many trees(except on the ditches) for hanging stands. Ground blinds and tripods are the best choices. We currently have 17 tripods on the property, will have 4 new ground blinds this year (already built) and a few shooting houses.
Each member is required to put up a minimum of 3 stands with 1 of the 3 being enclosed.
Most stands are on roads through the property with 360 degree views. Shots can range from 25 yards to 1/2 mile. You will see alot of deer on this property. The best day I had was an afternoon hunt that I saw over 100 deer. I know this sounds far fetched but the other members can attest to the numbers. This area is considered prime and the lease cost is accordingly set by the land owner. I have the lease for as long as I want it. The price per membership which includes imediate family is $3500 per year.
It's really too much to list here about the property so if seriously intrested please email me directly at rlsmith4602ATyahoo.com and we will go from there. The location of this property sells itself. Email for further info. Thanks...............

This must be near Delta National Forest. I have hunted with family there for the past 8 years. What size deer do yall usually take each year. I dont know if I could justify 3500 but am curious.

Thats some expensive back-strap..LOL....But to some the solitude is well worth the money...........Nice to be able to ride the 4 wheeler close to the stand and not have to worry about it being gone or someone hunting in it or in the next tree.....Last time i hunted a WMA i was on a hot spot,Climbed in almost 2 hrs b4 daylight to beat anyone else w/the same idea.I climbed up and got situated..Then i see a cigarette cherry burning a lil way down the trail, then another, then another, crap, they must of had every smokin hunter in La in my area.I swear, there were atleast 4 people smoking cigs or morning bud in my area,,,I climbed down ,pulled my climber and walked down the road.Found the first tree i c/climb and got in.Shot a doe bout a hour later,lol....Lost her but was atleast the only hunter in the area....This was in Shurburne..Hunting on a ridge line in a swampy area.....The deer were walking this high ground throught the marsh..it was a parade route...Until everyone from port berry went hunting that morning,lol.....
