got it from some guy on another forum i'm on. he said he purchased it new and never shot it, i remember him making a thread when he got it only about 5 weeks ago. if he did shoot it and was lying, it was probably only 200 rounds or less from brass markings on the bolt face and very light wear on the carrier. either that or he liked to dry fire it a lot and sometimes cycled brass through it. no brass markings on the shell deflector, though, so i could be mistaken.
either way, a damn good deal for all that in my eyes.
those CTR's are nice... thats what i was planning on going with. I just got word that personal AR15s are gonna be allowed to carry on patrol, I just dont know what types yet. That may ultimately change my plans if the setup I was going for isnt on the approved list.
i know, but i've pretty much got everybody's gifts bought right now so i decided to go ahead and order it, that way i'll be able to take the gun out to shoot before i leave town for 10 days on the 26th.so much for waiting until after christmas
