No, its a permanent modification. The gun will not move or slide around in your hands while firing whether its wet, dry, soapy, bloody, etc etc etc

Why would you ever be handling a gun with soapy hands? I could see oily but soapy? Kelly I thought you were a man, when have you ever washed your hands?
