    Hi gents,
I'm looking for a fair chunk of land for a Vietnam Reenactment. The little slice of Vietnam we have been using here in the states is now being developed for housing, leaving us in a bit of a pickle.

We're a small group, 20-30 folks that just want to get together for a weekend of reenacting near the end of April. We don't construct any permenant structures nor do we dig holes, trenches or bunkers. We would like access several weekends in advance to construct a temporary village which will depart with us in its entirety on the Sunday at the close of the event.

Somewhere within a couple of hours of Baton Rouge would be preferable...we had been using a site up in Tunica and would love somewhere in that area.

Please contact me at steerpike@bellsouth.net if you think you might be able to help.

Why not use the same area, and perhaps it will slow down their building progress if they saw some smoke and some guys with guns running around the new building :)

I am all for craters being left.. :)

    good luck

:) Yep I do imagine that would delay progress quite a bit. Somehow I think the pop-up mini Vietnamese village might bring home prices down somewhat...jeez look at what the neighbors are living in!

You might check with Hammond .They have the Reinasance Festival in a rural setting there every fall . I don't know the mechanics of using the land or even who owns it any more . It is located on River Road near the High School. Just a thought.

The people who put it on own the property.
