Help I need a barrel for my glock 23.Aftermarket or original is ok.I have a slightly bulged (from a squib load) original barrel that I would be willing to trade in on the good one.I know lone wolf has them but Im checking here first.
Needed G-23 barrel.

Were you the guy shooting 9mm out of a .40 out at the BZ?
Seriously, sunday morning, the guy there when we got there showed me the area that was littered with bulging and ruptured 9mm cases. They had expanded to the dia. of a .40!! Had to be 30 rounds at least!

No it wasent the guns fault it was mine the load that squibbed was factory but the round that dislodged the sqibb was a reload.
The slide locked up about 1 inch out of battery from the barrel wedging against the slide when the barrel expanded..the new round ejected the squib out the end of the barrel.

I think there was another .40 that had a case rupture previous to Bam's problem. I know the guy just didn't get the story yet. Pretty sure the shooter was OK & the gun went on with no damage.
I had a case rupture on a .22 pistol. It was the rim that split. That totally convinced me of 2 things. You need to always have the safety glasses on. Even when other shooters are in a different pistol bay. You do not want case ruptures.

The case rupture was in a 9mm Glock. Nate was shooting his own reloads and the brass was 30 year old military brass. He was not injured but lost 9 rounds out of a 12 round string so his points were destroyed.
