I lost my trusty Smith & Wesson SW2001 that I had been carrying for about 15 years somewhere moving between hotels for work a few months ago, so I replaced in with a Mini Griptilian. Still not as fond of it as my old S&W, but it’s nice. The grip is a little too aggressive for me, so I’d like to find some replacement scales.

Also, if anyone happens to have an old SW2001 (pictured below) that they’d like to sell, I’d be interested. I don’t think I paid more than $30 for it, but I loved it.

I do like it. My main problems with it are the texture gripping my pocket when I draw it and I prefer the clip attached at the pivot, tip down.

These two for a ride in the cobra and some yard work and hot rod work today. The fixed is nearly a year old, D2 and acacia wood. The folder is brand new from same local new maker, CM154 and acacia wood. Sister but not twins.

Been carrying the Kershaw Launch 7 Auto the last couple of weeks. Been pretty impressed. Nice ergos, good blade material and fast tight auto lockup. I did add a deep carry titanium clip. Best of all, made in the USA!

He does not but I can put you in touch with him. PM me.

And here I thought I was the only traditional knife dude remaining here lol

A new Ryuichi Kawamura. Reversed secondaries so wharncliff opens right handed and off pattern size and lockback main blade. Ryu makes one buttery smooth action knife.

Going thru my switchblade collection I think I found my perfect EDC auto. Everything I've tried has either been to long, to wide, to heavy or I just didn't care for the pocket clip. Don't know why I haven't tried this one before. It's a Bear Ops Bold Action X. It's so close to the Benchmade 556S Mini Griptillion that I carried for years until my grandson confiscated it from me. 2.6 inch blade of 14C28N steel and G10 scales make it a perfect carry (for me).
