WTB - North American Arms Break Top Ranger

I am still looking for another North American Arms Break Top Ranger .22 magnum revolver. If you can find one of these, your a better man than me. Let me know if you find one.

They must have made some because I noted one sold on Gunbroker for over $600. But the note in the link below indicates that NAA has decided not to produce the Ranger.

So, how accurate are these things? I've seen them in the case at Academy and always wondered, but never shot one. Is it worth buying?

They are definitley close in type guns. I've had one for many years, (the .22 mag/.22 LR convertible). They are great trail guns for snakes and such, (alternate LR hollowpoints and rat shot). The workmanship on them is very impressive. I highly recommend them. Now that I have my "Break Top", I'm looking for the tiny .22 short only revolver.

After reading the Handgunner artical about them this last issue, I REALLY, REALLY WANTED ONE. It stinks that NAA is not going to make them a regular production item. I love and carry my little mag/lr convertable A LOT. Have shot tons of snakes and even killed 3 racoons with mine. The break top is just what I wanted since you do not have to take the gun appart to load/unload. So sad, another of lifes shattered dreams
