I would look into buying a police trade in online, shipping it to your FFL and be done with, will be hard to beat the price this way most "used" from private sellers will still be pricey since they do tend to hold value and there is always a demand for them.

EXpress Police Supply had some police trade ins at good prices, most of them came with 3 mags, ask for Trevor if you call

Ed's Public Safety also had some, ask for Kim

If you get a police trade-in, you may want to consider changing the springs. How much are you looking to spend? I "may" have one here for you.

Yes it is always recommended to replace springs on used guns, but keep in mind MOST Police guns are carried a lot and only shot once a year to qualify with, I bough a Police Trade in Gen 2 Glock 19 and she looked beat to crap on the slide but internally she MIGHT have had 400 rnds.
