    finally parting with my 4043 . great gun . just went and shot today 50 rounds and not a single jam . wanting to trade for another hangun . really wanting another 45 but open to offers . ftf local to me only . cash price $380 this is a full size alloy frame handgun. the pic shown is a stock photo . mine does not have those scuffs and i also have a alloy trigger. not black wanting to trade for 9 38 357 380 45

    oh my! that is a great machine. The time those were being made, were some of the best modern good stuff s&w was turning out, IMHO. Love it! I am currently restricted to "get what you need", not what you want or that would live with me! :D

    yeah i love it but ive just come across a nice g22 and i couldnt pass that up and i have to many 40s and ive had this the longest and i never shoot it so i figure id pass it on to my fellow shooting brothers

    yes the 4043 was an alloy frame version of the all stainless steel 4046. It's a 3rd generation, full size .40 in double action only. They also used the same 11 shot magazines that the 4046 uses. A very nice gun but a little heavier on the recoil due to the lighter frame
