    I'm shopping for a well cared-for .38 revolver (2"-3" barrel) in the $150 - $250 range. Looking for S&W, Taurus, Charter Arms, Ruger.
    I live in the Destrehan area, but will travel to NO/BR for the right gun.

    Pelican Pawn on Jefferson hwy has a 3" Rossi 461 357magnum for $275+tax. It's like new and was just released by Rossi last November. It's a very nice one and made by Taurus. Check it out.

    Well,for less money,you'll have to stick with a used Charter Arms,Taurus or Rossi. Any less than that I wouldn't touch. You can forget S&W,Colt or Ruger for that price...it's not going to happen. The other three are fine for the money but don't go less than that.
