YHM or MI 4 rail handguard?

    This will be a for a midlength RRA upper.

    Trying to stay relatively inexpensive so no Daniel Defense. :o

    Personally, I much prefer the aesthetics of the Midwest Industries and the price difference isn't enough to deter me but I'm just trying to get other opinions.

    I have the MI on my carbine and love it. rock solid, plus I like the solid rails versus the YHM's design, its pretty prickly, lots of edges.

    I also prefer the MI to the surefire, because the MI's top rail is on the same plane as the flat top. The MI Free Floaters also give a monolithic look and you dont have to remove the front sight base to install.
