I'm about to send off for my license and was wondering if there are any pitfalls or anything that I need to worry about. As far as I can tell it's pretty straight forward. Fill out the two forms, one in duplicate, send forms and $30 check to ATF and duplicate to local sheriff. Then wait. Did I miss anything?

It is painless and sounds like you are set to wait. The wait isn't very long either. I got mine back in 3 weeks.

i think you either have to send a credit card # or money order. i sent a monet order. the sherriff called me and interviewed me, which i wasnt expecting. also, make sure you sign the section that asks for the business owner signature or something like that.

Ok, thanks. I've been looking alot of really cool guns that are c&r eligible and the thought of paying 30bucks everytime I order one is too painful. I'd rather pay $30 for 3 years and get all I want.

Question: on section 10 nonimmigrant alien etc it asks about a hunting license. Do I have to put my hunting info on there even if I'm an American citizen?

When you get your C&R make copies of it. You have to send one copy of license to whomever you are buying a C&R weapon with orginal signature.
