It was 0710 hrs when the man eating beast (AKA 120lb Doe) walked up from the forest (AKA Cat Island) and gave me a shot. 21 yards with a Matthews outback and the Rage 2-Blade hit it's mark; complete pass trough and a blood trail for about 75 yards and I broke the seal for 2008. I am very impressed with this broadhead.. very large entrance hole and nice blood trail, ribs didn't even slow it down.

Nice job. I went out today but just had the same fawn hanging around. He came out 2 minutes after I got in the stand and did not leave. I was climbing down when he ran away. He knew I was there, but didn't care.
RAGE IS A GOOD HEAD....Thats the only head i stock,,thats all they want....I switched from the Gator mechanical s...I like them gator's also....Its a close match w/the exception of the tip on the rage is much stronger for bone crushing penetration...+1 on the rage..I shoot them on Speed Pro 6.2 gpi .001 straight arrows at 62 lbs @ 320 FPS and 72 ft lbs of Kinetic energy hitting the target..
To find your Impact ft lbs try this..
KE =mass of arrow x fps x fps divided by 450240
example
320gr arrow x 320 fps x 320 fps = 32768000 divided by 450240=72.778962 lbs KE
my arrows are hitting the target at 72.77896 lbs of K energy[force]
This is what you want to find out....if your KE is very low you need to make a change...You want atleast the same KE as you are pulling back..im pulling back 62 lbs at 29 inches shooting 320 fps w/29 inch arrow.......
also front of center needs to be 10-12% ......

speed pro are put out by High Country..They are 5.5 and 6.2 grain per inch..It makes it possible for low poundage shooters to get close to IBO standards and get max speed for there rig..Most other arrows are 8-10 gpi.....A bow set at 60 pounds can shoot a 300 gr arrow safely and efficiently...Most arrows make this hard to do...I have .001 and .003 straightness arrows.for hunting .003 is cool....for tourney you want .001 or .0008 along those lines and normally its 350.00 a dozen ballpark....Speed pro arrows are 125 and 150 a dozen......Fletched w/easton diamond .380 vanes which are about as indestructible as you can get.Ive got fletching 10 yrs old still on shafts.....I really like shooting them....I was shooting acc 349 and they are the same price,easier to damage and much heavier....
