Here is your chance to own a first year SbS, for only $470.00 firm. FTF only. New Orleans area, Westbank.
This is 79 years young, and ready to go to the range, or hang over your door. Serial #75xx. One barrel full, one modified.

Condition: Some case color still discernible on receiver. Barrel has some light dings. Wood is bright, and not darkened by oil. A little pitting in both bores. Scratches as shown in pics. This is about 75%, good condition.

Do not use steel shot, or Hevi-shot. No more duck hunting for this old shotgun.

86 views, and the only interest is in 'Scout' the cat. No deer hunters, or upland bird hunters wanting a piece of history? If it doesn't sell here, it will sell at the Slidell gun show. Probably to someone who will 'coach gun' it. What a waste.

    Dave:
The barrels are 28". Yes it is a double barrel side by side, SbS. A great gun, at a fair price. In better condition this gun would run $700. Two triggers.

OHHH!!! I thought you meant short barreled shotgun. I'm used to people saying "Double Barrel" or "Over Under".

    DAVE

    Dave:

Sorry for the misunderstanding. A short barrel shotgun, is still referred to as a SBR, although the tax is only $5 if I recall correctly. SbS, or SxS, are both terms commonly used for doubles, to differentiate them from O/U, or over under shotguns.

    Thanks for the bump ttt

Snooze and lose. I trade this at the Slidell Gun Show, to a fellow who will give it a good home. I am glad it didn't go to some punk , only to get hacked to pieces. The fellow has a 16ga just like it, and traded me a like new, stainless Colt target pistol for it. I'm happy, so is he. All is right in the world, for a few days.:)
