Does anyone know of a rockstar gunsmith in Louisiana?

Don't know the area ... looking for a gunsmith in the 30's-40's must be a dynamic personality.

Looking on behalf of my boss and those are the preferences.

I believe you are in the wrong forum... try ARF.com or maybe something in Kalifornia for your 'rock star'. Maybe you can find one who doubles as a tattoo artist and outlaw biker also..

Hello,

I appreciate all of your responses.

I do not know the area (anywhere in Louisiana) and am asking for any suggestions you may have for "rockstar" meaning they are personable, skilled, and passionate about the craft. As for age it's a personal preference and we're shopping around looking for best fit.

I have been searching for awhile and I was told this was the most helpful and welcoming forum - it is not my intent to enter into debate just asking for your knowledgeable recommendations as I was told the members on this forum know the best in the business.

Do you know any gunsmiths in the state that fits this description?

Any leads you can give me are welcomed.

The age preference is fine. You can only hire someone in that age range is you want. You just can't say it or advertise it that way.

The way you're presenting this doesn't seem like something I would want to recommend someone I know to participate in.

If you were less vague and state exactly why these seemingly irrelevant traits are important in a gunsmith, you may find the answer you seek.

Are you scouting for someone for a new EXTREME GUNSMITHING tv show? Whats the shtick?

When I'm looking for a gunsmith, I look for the best person for the job. I don't care if he's 65 years old, has an arm growing out of his head, curses like a drunken sailor and eats kittens in his spare time if he's good.

I would think most 30-40 yr olds with dynamic personalities and skills would have their own business. (i.e. Ritten)

There are a lot of smiths locally, but are you looking for a one gun job or for a show, or for a 100k contract or what?

I will not personally refer anyone to your add until I know details, and I betcha most guys are like that on this board.. We dont know you from adam...
