3 years, $24-26 million depending on the source. Not bad for a guy who has only started 2 pro games, even though they were big ones. 6 touchdowns in one game to end the season.

If Kevin Kolb had gotten that huge contract last year as a backup-to-starter and crapped it all up, Flynn would probably be going for a few more million per year, but he can get that later. Good deal for both teams.

I just hate the Seahawks :hs:

Good for him. Of course, I WISH he had been signed to NO or the Pats, but there is no chance either of those would take him with Brees and Daniel on the Saints and Brady/Mallett for the Pats.

Amazing all the hoopla about JaMarcus and look who is playing now . . .

One of the blogs said Seattle is a good fit as they have tall, decent receivers who are team players.

    Good luck, Matt.

The sad thing is that JaMarcus has not played in what, 2 years and still has made more money than Matt has and will through this contract and he is broke!!!

Good deal for a good guy! That's great!

Remembering back to all the hoopla over the "rivalry that never took place"- LSU vs USC- who'd have ever thought Matt Flynn would one day play for Pete Carroll??? :)

This guy is a winner. He'll do well in Seattle. :bravo:
