This is old news. Feel sorry that something like this mess has happened in the Glock family, but we can only hope that something bad does not happen toto the pistols or the Glock family.

Glock really needs to move forward, the old man did some great things no doubt, but it's been a long time since Glock truly had anything innovative to bring to market.

They must be doing something right because production can not keep up with sales.

How about Glock shotguns, knives, Glock airguns. There's a big market available out there.

and a dang single stack ultra concealable backup piece! A Glock SMG would probably sell well in the law enforcement market as well

Dude they STARTED as a BLADE manufacture before they did guns, they continue to make knifes, I think they should stick to what they do BEST though, look at the failure of the Glock Flashlight ...........

    Oh yeah?

I heard he made some mean ass curtain rods even before he made knives.

And I've seen their knife collection, they are hideous.

Glock has capitalized all their molds and equipment. They are tens of thousands of guns behind in production. They are printing money. Why innovate? Who else is innovating in their industry?

Just Kel-Tec with their bullpup shotgun - though it's not the first. Same with their .308 Win bullpup carbine/rifle.

Perhaps Sako with their truly modular bolt gun - TRG 21 M10 I think it's called.

    Benelli's Vinci shotgun.

I think these examples prove YOUR point: there is NOT a lot of innovation in this industry.
