I have a Draco Pistol with an Midland Industries "tactical" hand guard.

    Looks like this:

I know I can't mount a full hand grip on it, but how about this one:

There are several Youtube videos of Dracos with this grip, and one of the guys in the videos says this is legal. A couple of gun dealers I asked were unsure about it. One said it's illegal.

    What say you?

the last 3-5 months.I have asked 2 of them and they said, they were told by FFL or who
ever,it was legal.I posted this months ago:)

I've searched before and found it to seem OK. Also being discussed here.

I've never seen a letter from the BATFE regarding AK pistols of any kind. Only AR15 type pistols. The BATFE is a mother ****er, and they wouldn't hesitate to shoot your dog over that minor little stipulation that doesn't really matter. IMO, if the AFG is GTG on an AR15, it should be GTG on any pistol. That's the logic I see, anyways, but logic to them is porn to a mormon.

The "I'm an idiot" disclaimer is in full effect here.......but....

I might recall reading somewhere about the restriction on a forward grip in regards to a pistol being based the length of said grip???

    Or maybe I'm remembering incorrectly....

Otherwise, you got the gun...pay the fine and do the paperwork to SBR it. Put a folding stock on it and do what you want so long as it doesn't go pewpewpewpew...

What about adding by means of approved weld a muzzle break that creates a permanent 16+" barrel and adding a verticle forward grip and not SBRing it?
