strawberry fest or french quarter fest?

I live in Ponchatoula and know a couple of beer booth workers so I know my answer.

Used to live in Ponchatoula as well (right by the bbq place, forgot the dang name...)

Would much prefer the Strawberry Festival than putting up with New Orleans. Gotta love that locally made strawberry wine :drool:

I live in the middle of French Quarter Fest AND had a flat of Ponchatoula Strawberries dropped off by a friend yesterday. The best of both worlds.

We went to the Strawberry Fest last year, first time in a decade. Other than the free concerts (which were good but not my kind of music), I thought it was pretty lame. Just a bunch of overpiced knick knacks, artsy craftsy stuff and heart-attack inducing food trucks. This year I think we'll stop at the first side-road vendor for a flat of strawberries and turn around.
