Just thought I'd share some pictures of a project I'm working on.

Any suggestions or advise for how best to attack the roof felting/shingling on this tall mamma jamma?

Highly considering picking up a few hombre's from Home Depot to do this deed. ha ha.

Thought about it, but doesn't do any good if you fall on the side the safety belt is attached to.

I see there are no HOA restrictions in your neighborhood.

That's a hell of a shed. I like the double wide doors for the lawntractor or 4 wheelers.

Borrow some scaffolding from a buddy, or rent a stack.

I think I might be able to make up some back yard scaffolding. I've got several pieces of 12' 2x6's that I am going to stand up vertically and tie in to the studs of the shed with 3 foot pieces of 2x6. Spread them out about every 4 feet and then use some 2x8's or 2x10s over the 4 feet spread to work with as scaffolding.

Tell us what this cost you from start to finish when you are thorugh buying materials.

And for the record, you are as good a carpenter as those who claimed to be carpenters, that I used to work with when I was a kid.

I reclaimed a lot of lumber and have bought a lot of new lumber. All 2x4 studs were reclaimed from my old shop. Just to build the skids, floor, framing, sheeting, roofing and such I will have spent close to $2k +/- a couple hundred.

Like I was telling the Mrs. This would have cost $5k to $7k to have someone build it for me and will increase the property value by $10k easy.

Looks great! I wish I had done the roof like that when I built my 12x16. Would be nice to have that much more space overhead.

12' x 24', approximately 13 1/2' Tall (from floor to top) and sits about 2 feet off the ground.

I have a 14x14 we built, with an 8' ceiling on the lower level, and a 7 ft ceiling to the peak on the upper.
Next one will be off the ground like yours.
