Did you notice who Obama Threatened?

It's incredible that 42% of Americans think that this unqualified, incompetent, dishonorable, ego-driven fraud is doing a good job. Take a moment. Admit it to yourself. You know who his supporters are. They are the people that YOU support.

From now thru November 2012 this should be required weekly or at least monthly reading BY ALL WHO VOTE!!!

Did you notice who Obama threatened when he wasn't getting his way on raising the debt ceiling? He threatened to not pay:

    - Social Security Retirees, Military Retirees, Social Security
    disability and Federal Retirees.-

    - Now..let this sink in really good -

    - He did not threaten to stop payments to illegal aliens

    - He did not threaten to take frivolous benefits such as Internet access away from violent inmates

    - He did not offer to fire some of the thousands of unnecessary federal employees that he hired

    - He did not offer to cut down on his or his wife's frivolous gallivanting around

    - He did not threaten to not pay the senators and representatives or any of their staff

    - He did not threaten to take benefits away from welfare recipients

    - He did not threaten the food stamp programs

    - He did not threaten to not pay foreign aid

    - He did not threaten to cut back on anything that involves his base voters

    - The list could go on and on. He is in full political re-election mode!

    • Why are we allowing this person to destroy this wonderful country with his selfishness and his lies? Have WE lost our blooming minds!!!!!!!!

    • His type of change is killing our country. He needs to be stopped and only our votes can stop him.

    • Do not forget about his tactics when it's election time. Vote Obama out of the Presidency in 2012.

LET'S MAKE 2012 - THE END OF AN ERROR!

We the people are coming (AMEN)

I think that what has been lost in translation is that Obama IS the face of the people, as a majority. People are not blind, nor are they deaf. After nearly four years, the only probable cause for their support remains their agreement. Remember, it was the people who begged free bread and circuses in Rome that enabled corrupt leaders to "buy" positions of power with favor to certain groups and eventually overturn the Republic through driving out those who strengthened it through increasing "penalties for success" as I call it, and ever diluting what remained by rewarding nothing with something.

Nothing has changed. Nothing will. It's all going to happen again, and no-matter how much you scream and lobby, you aren't going to stop it. Noone, and no country ever has. It is like the ebb of the tide, and all you can do is try to build your sand-castle with the thickest walls, because soon it will be coming back in and wiping the beach clean, or at the very least, changing it forever. Even now, smaller nations chip away at the American Republic as it rots from the inside out. The leaders are not to blame, as they are elected. It is the people that are the disease, and the leader the symptom, not the other way around.

I hate to be the voice of the pessimist, but history has taught me that I am merely being a realist.

Yeah, I don't think many on welfare outvoted those of who work for a living. Keep telling yourself that lie... People DID - AND STILL DO - wanted a change (for the better). And rightfully so.

This is old news, no matter which way you look at it. Many here, in fact, stated these same facts, but it is good to see them compiled in a list.

I agree with JWG. Obama is merely a michrochosmic representation of a larger problem in America. One that been festering for decades. We live in a push-button society. What we have is the result of social engineering through pop culture and an educational system ripe with socialists / communists.

This is standard operating procedure for politics. This isn't Obama's brainchild. Fear is a very old tool.

Think about it, how many times have you heard both right and left instantly go worst case scenario? Start paying attention, in every city, every state, every mayor, governor, councilman, representative, etc, always goes right to the "policemen, firemen, medicine" route when budgets need money.

Since some are discussing change, I thought i'd share this. I was listening to the James show yesterday (99.5, FM) and apparently the insurance companies aren't getting enough taxpayer welfare, so they threatened politicians once again (with campaign donations and less kickbacks) to pass a bill that states if you get pulled over with no insurance, your car can be impounded.

Welfare is welfare. Insurance companies now no longer cover wind and hail. You need a separate policy. Effectively, your insurance covers fire and busted pipes. In the future, I suspect that we'll simply, for the act of living in Louisiana, have to pay insurance companies a stipend. And we'll go for it because it was likely approved by "our side".

    but I digress...

We're mandated to buy car insurance by the state governement. Repeat: we are forced to buy a product by our government. This is hardly a limited governemnt stance, is it not? But here we are raving about Obamacare and its mandate. Oh, right, some of you are going to say states rights, but in the same breath give Romney **** over his state mandate. (no endorsement of Romney...he's Obama II)

Isn't insurance a risk thing? You either risk having it or you don't? It used to be a choice, but where kickbacks are concerned, choices go out of the window. Money takes precedence over limited government.

What this means is that the divisiveness has effectively done its job. It's okay "when my side does it" but it's communism "when their side does it". Deficit spending on war is good. Deficit spending is bad when it's for anything else.

We're going to crash before we wake up, and even then, it probably won't work.

Throwing my hands up and surrendering to fear has not been my way since I grew up.

Things can look as bad as they will, I won't give up hope. I never know when the lessons learned from history might take traction.

Still, we make ready for what might happen. Can't ignore those facts any more than I can give up hope.
