Ok...Picked these up in an estate sale that i have a question about...

The one on the left is a .40 cal.I suspect it's a wad cutter.

The 5 in the middle are .38 special's and new to me...

The one one the right however is a 9mm Black Talon rumored to be designed by Chuck Norris and only 2 know example's in the world....

I may auction it off at a starting bid of $ 27,442.89..or just keep it in a safe...

    What do you think ?

Oh, Added note ..If any wish to bid on the Super Cool Black Talon...Just Post it...Thanks'

    lol...

Thank's man...I may go as low as $ 21,243.09 for the Super Cool Talon by C.Norris...Any taker's..?

    Didley...You know you need this...lol

The one on the right is, without doubt, a dreaded Black Talon. Its worth at least ten grand, as everybody knows these horribly lethal killers were banned soon after their debut.

In all seriousness, they WERE dropped when Winchester caved into the AMA and NAACP. The medicos objected on the grounds that the "talons" so produced when the round expanded were lying in wait, ready to puncture the surgical glove of some ER sawbones probing around in the guts of some miscreant. Not an unreasonable assumption, but still slightly ludicrous. Amazingly enough, there are several other brands of bullet out there which have the same characteristics (and have since the Black Talon was around). Funny... the AMA is strangely silent on these.

The NAACP objected because... well, you figure it out.

So I'm assuming that the black talon is indeed a shoot to kill bullet. I think you may be best keeping that little bit in your bug out bag, never know when you'll want to have a real bullet around.

    Left - .40 Black Talon, Right - .40 Ranger T

Not that I would like to take a hit from either of them, or any bullet for that matter, but if I had to make a choice between the 2, I would have to take my chances with the Black Talon because these Ranger T's are simply vicious. My insides start to shred themselves just from looking at them. This was the only talon I owned, it was given to me by a friend a couple years ago. I guess I shouldn't have shot it, considering the current market value.

I thought those were dum dums? All the old timers that I knew called them that and they were super easy to reload.
I may not be seeing it right though, iPhone pic is small.

those in the middle look amazingly like the popular 148 grain bevel base wadcutters I used to cast and reload, not to be confused with 148 grain hollow-base wadcutters (purchased) which, when turned around and loaded upside down, made a BIG hollow point.
