IDK about related but I lived about a year in Kentucky near Williamsburg. I have no problem believing anything wild about the people. But they were great friends to me.

My wife's maternal grandmother is a descendant from one of them. They have a paper trail to prove it.

Hatfield--McCoy--This is nothing more than the English/Irish feud carried over from the old country!! These folks didn't need much excuse to kill each other!!
