I've been taken hostage by a friendly pedagog and a blind woman.... Oh wait, my bag is here. Just joshing.

What do you gents recommend to do whilst here? I'd be great to meet a few of you. I'm here til 13 June. Please no further rack and swivel jokes.....

Seriously, if I were unfamiliar with BR I'd start by taking a look at the following and trying to avoid those areas. :o

Don't take any wrong exits. :nono:

"RACK A FRESH ROUND AND KEEP YOUR HEAD ON A SWIVEL" Lots of kids ride bikes around the area, plenty suspect looking perps around LSU

Whoever said bikes were a problem have obviously NEVER been to LSU. Bikes are normal, razors scream thugs. and if you see a unicycle run like hell. Those 12 year olds are good at one handing them unicycles so they can shoot with the free hand.

I'll echo other sentiments and remind you that Baton Rouge is a dangerous place. For the love of God man, rack a fresh round and keep your head on a swivel. :ninja:

Thanks BBQ. I slept on the USS Kidd as a Boy Scout and toured it a few times.
Will check out the other stuff. Spent, I'll take it.

Might want to go see the state capital if you've never been and while there check out the Arsenal Museum east of the capital. Other than the food and the other items listed, can’t think of anything else.

You know I can't think of anything to do here other than work! How many times can you go out and eat unless you have a large dining budget? This place kinda blows if you don't have a place shoot, fish, or f**k!

I guess if you are into shopping for art and antiques there might be some interesting places. There is a slight theater presence too; but I think you need to be gay to enjoy that kind of crap.
