    And he got weird in the end. Bizarre, crazy etc. Edison did too.

    There was another fellow right around the same time - I can't remember his name at them moment. Wasn't exactly conventional either.

    Don’t forget florescent light bulbs. He was awarded the contract to use his AC power at the he Chicago World's Fair in 1893. Edison would not allow him to use the incandescent light bulb and screw base, so Tesla invented the florescent light bulb and a bayonet type base. His base is still in use today, think of him the next time you change a brake light in your car.

    Tesla also invented (just to name a few) synchronous motors, remote control, robotics, radio, and the laser.

    Yeah I think that part was a little inaccurate. Even so, it'd require the entire sorrounding 20873048744598 acres to be a huge power plant.
