Alright, I know this is a shot in the dark but I am looking to buy your M16-12M folding knife. Mine is beginning to get a bit too worn and I've yet to find a knife that I like better.

I know there are other models out there but I REALLY prefer the aluminum handle over the current plastic ones. Plus I believe the newer models are larger (this one has a 3" blade).

    Willing to overpay.

It's not exactly what you asked for, but I have one of the plastic handled ones I'd let go for cheap in cash, casings, or bullets in .45, .38, or .357

Thanks for the help guys, but I really would like an aluminum handled one with a 3" blade. Guess I'll start hunting for a new favorite.

Thanks Bravo3. That LE is exactly what I'm looking for but I'll have to contact that site to see if they have it in stock.

I've seen the special forces knives and even the Ti handled ones but I've never had a use for the larger blade.

I do keep an eye on eBay--the last one that was available was REALLY wrecked.

EDIT: It looks like I'll just pick this up. Thanks for the help guys.

I bought my frist CRKT M16 about 3 years ago, and have hardly ever carried another knife since then. Love them, and yeah I do the tanto blade with no serrations

I have a certain operation iraq freedom knife that I got from a ranger deployed there. It's all drab.....I'll see if my son will turn it loose.
