There are so many PMAG's out there its insane, not nearly as many as GI, but still a lot. Lancer doesnt have nearly the volume.

    Either works fine.

Also, don't throw your PMAGs away. When you have about 10 bad ones, call up Magpul and get 10 new mags free. They have unparalled CS.

I like PMAG's because they just work well, if I lived in extremely cold temperatures I would have GI only. The lancers work well too, I just have 50 + PMAG's and dont need anymore.

Don't overanalyze, just shoot. Though I do believe Magpul has spent more money in R&D than any other mag in existence. THey have a bright bunch of engineers over there, and the M3 is probably as good as it gets (I would be removing the over-insertion stops though, I don't know why they put those in.

Of those 50+, how many are black polymer that have been sent back to Magpul for a replacement?

Why would you ruin two perfectly decent mags just because?

Still looking to dump them Lancers? :naughty:
    Haha!
No, I will use them as training mags.

That said, I am now up to 26 PMAGs. I bought 15 at $10.75 free shipping, and another 11 at a bit over $16 and free shipping, so I paid an average of $13 a mag or so. Kindof "meh", but not near as bad as CTD, lol. You want in? Here:

(Giving 6 of my mags away to the friends I bought AR15 uppers for this year for christmas. They have no mags at all *tear*)

Yes, it is a trade off. Yes, the rifle does seem to care, it jams every now and then on mag changes.
Lancer keeps redesigning their feed lips, so apparently research and product improvement have not died yet. For that matter, why not just use usgi mags? They work just fine. Who cares if you have something more reliable, no9 that s?ems to be the stance I am seeing: stop improving. My question is...why? Clp has worked fine, usgi mags fine, etc. Etc. Why do we diverge? To be better, of course, even if minutely. This costs me nothing, as the pmags are the same cost, so I don't see the fuss.

    Just a little update...

I wanted to re-visit my weapon/mag failures. Here is my old Noveske compared to my new Daniel Defense. Same mag used in each picture, empty shell-casings used for safety reasons of course, but that doesn't matter for the sake of these photos.
