Did the Obama Adminstration offer misleading accounts of what happened in Libya?

The Libyans seem to be giving a vastly different account of how all this began- and aren't nearly as quick to pin the blame on a video.....

I mean, really. Who believes that all these attacks were ignited by a less-than-awful video that no one has seen?? :confused:

The Obama administration says the assault was a spontaneous local reaction inspired by a demonstration that was taking place at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo against a video made in the United States slurring the Prophet Muhammad, the founder of the Islamic faith. It also contends that the attack grew out of a small protest.

A senior Libyan official says the attack was organized and planned by foreigners – some with links to al Qaida – involved a local Islamic militia, and was timed for the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States. Moreover, the Libyan official appeared to question whether there was a protest beforehand.

I have seen parts of it and it was hilarious!!!! But, the video has been out since June and they are just now rioting, yeah right!!!!

I ain't buying it either, Booseman- it just doesn't make sense.

It floors me that THE OFFICIALS FROM THE COUNTRY WHERE IT HAPPENED appear to be the ones telling the truth- and the gov't OF THE COUNTRY WHO LOST THE DIPLOMAT & BRAVE PERSONNEL seems to be making excuses for the bastards who did it.....That's disgusting to even think about. :dunno:

He's not a liar. He loves us and whats to take care of us. He said he would bring the troops home. He said he would close gitmo. He said he would cut the deficit in half in 4 years. He said unemployment would never go over 8%. Look how all those turned out...................

He sure is working HARD to retain a job he seems uninterested in actually performing. I guess the perks: lavish, taxpayer-funded vacations and the fancy house and all, have him hooked. Plus, his old lady seems to be addicted to giving the nation (world?) her viewpoint on stuff, too. And I'm pretty sure she like the never-ending perks, also.

This is it in a nutshell. You have a guy who holds the most powerful seat of power in the world, and is beginning to show how much of a megalomaniac he is in doing all he can to hold onto that power....because he hasn't finished "changing" the country into the socialist template that he has had in mind the whole time. I have never seen someone so egotistical, self absorbed, and arrogant yet so clueless as to his job in my life. It is disgusting and very worrisome to know that he is leading this country down a path of destruction and is happy to do it since it is to protect his selfish pursuit of a 2nd term of power. I think maybe the Mayans might have been right after all...December 21st is not far off.... :noes:
