I made the jump!

I've been wanting to make the jump and buy my first rifle, but im too cheap quite frankly. Well I just left Dicks and bought a Troy Defense. Can't wait to shoot my first round out of a rifle (besides .22). It will be here in 7-10 days. One thing I do know, that handguard sure is un-comfortable! Are there better options?

Congrats, man! That is one sweet rifle.

Try the squid grip rubber inserts troy makes for that handguard before you give up on it.

What were u doing with the hand guard that made it uncomfortable?

I said un-comfortable, I only held it for a measly 10 seconds. Seems like the suggestion above about the squid rubbers will solve that. Im also hoping the stock comes out a good bit more!

The stock extends to the Standard A1 length. I'm not sure how you evaluate comfort on a hand guard? I've never heard that complaint before.
