About three months ago I picked up a Mossberg MMR black rifle. I paid about $660 for it, which I thought was pretty cheap. I figured wth, I have a Mossberg shotgun that I love and its made in the USA. So far I've put about 1500 rds of that cheap Russian wolf ammo and the thing, to use a phrase a read yesterday, runs like a scalded dog. It came with rails, a free floated barrel, and detachable iron sights, it seems to be as accurate as any AR I've shot and I love the single stage trigger. It doesn't have a forward assist, but I haven't missed it at all. Any thoughts or concerns I should have? I'm considering buying another for a back up, but only because I'm concerned with it's long term reliability. If there's no reason to back it up, I'll spend my money on more ammo.
