These reactions make about as much sense as slitting your wrists to end famine in Africa.

Please, what a bunch of crap.

Do people really think Facebook posts have this much power?

HERP DERP, KONY 2012, END CHILDREN SLAVE SOLDIERS!

Yea, that worked out real well, didn't it?

Do you think the decision to cancel a TV show would even be had in the span of one weekend?

Might depend on where the " idea " came from, we do have 37 Czars running the country behind the curtain.

Considering the fallout on Facebook and around the web pushed CTD to yank their ridiculous $60 PMAG's, I think it's possible to quickly push any organization around a little.

Pulling advertisement of price gouged mags is a little different than canceling jobs and an entire "product line" and merchandising.

There may be a "last straw" effect, but if anything, I wouldn't attribute the cancellation to the tragedy and outcry... it was likely more to do with the fact that it wasn't a big hit, didn't perform well, market research, etc. I mean, I doubt they're gonna ban guns from The Walking Dead...

Find it funny, MSN used FoxNews as their source...

"A Discovery rep told FOX411 that *American Guns* – which is out of production and not currently broadcasting new episodes – has been canceled and will not return for a third season. This comes as something of a surprise given its growing popularity. The show had a 50 percent ratings increase for its second season premiere, and one of its stars, Renee Wyatt, recently said she would *definitely* be interested in returning for season three. The rep, however, would not link the show’s cancelation to the Connecticut school massacre."

If anything it should have been canceled for pimping out the wife and stepdaughter and passing the kids off as Rich Wyatt's kids.
