Anyone know of any good cracklins around Baton Rouge? I haven't had good ones for awhile, and they are included in my diet.

Austin, you can call Best Stop in Scott, La. and they will ship Cracklins and Boudin right to your door. I usually get 4 lbs. of Boudin and a sack of cracklins. My sister in Boulder, Co. orders and freezes the boudin. Excellent stuff. The phone # I have is 337-233-5805. Wilson

I remember I used to get them from a gas station that had them in a greasy brown bag, but idk where. I want the absolute best ones. Any ideas?

Hammond has a place like that off of Airport Rd. They are really good and come in a greasy brown bag.

There's a place in Gretna the sells cracklings which I think are horrible but a lot of people like it. Maybe that's what some of the others were talking about tasting "authentic". It had a citrus flavor to it. like they squeezed a lemon or something acidic over it after it was fried.

Danny and Bonnie's seafood. I know they're not the typical seasoning but I LOVE those cracklins!! It's a vinegar based sauce they sprinkle over them along with dry seasoning. I can't go back to eating regular crackling anymore. Not Best Stop, LuLu's, Rouses, Don's.....they all suck in comparison. It was the hardest thing for me when I had to leave my job in Harvey.

They also pop them when you order so they are fresh out the oil.

do they have a location anywhere near Siegen @ perkins? I go to BR about every other month, and usually stay in that area since I don't know my way around nor anywhere to go when I'm up there.

Stopped by M&S Grocery on LA. Avenue in Lafayette on my way back from Lobdale yesterday to pick up some boudin, boudin balls, and cracklins on the order of the better half. I was disappointed in the cracklins. Think I will continue buying them from Billy's in Scott instead.

Y'all all talking about all these great ones and I'm here just loving Golden Flake Louisiana Hot Sauce flavor..
Pig skins. Not technically the same, but I like them just fine too.

I will say that Company Burger in NO has some great pig skins.
