I had John Wick (the first one) on earlier tonight. Someone shared a clip from The Kingman a few nights ago. I've watched James Bond since I was a kid... I had one question that keeps coming up! Where in the world do they find sports coats and jackets that you can fight in? Even the best ones I've owned I can barely reach up to scratch an ear! I certainly couldn't wrestle a 5th grader in most of mine!

I watched JW chapter 2 a few nights ago and had the same thought.

I guess you have to get your suit from the Continental's tailor.

Fwiw, I like JW 1 but was disappointed in chapter 2

I don't have the link but remember reading an article about all the different coats designed for different action scenes in the latest Bond movies.

It helps if you are slim. I remember when I wore a lot of suits and was thinner, it really didn't hinder my movements. But now with an extra 25-30 lbs, things are more snug.

Guess it also helps to have a suit that actually fits you too. Seems like the style lately is too tight, too short, and makes you look like a pajama boy wearing one. Like most things "manly" it is a dying art you have to seek out anymore. If you have ever owned a traditional tailored suit with a proper fit you know what I mean. Comfort and freedom of movement while looking sharp is the whole reason it is done. Off the rack won't get you there. When I put mine on I hear ZZ Top playing. ;)

A bespoke, or custom tailored suit is the only way one could move around like that. And I'm sure there are some stretch panels added for the Hollywood suits in action movies.

I wonder what it costs to have those sewn in? :)
