Holy ****, man! You really are pulling out all the stops on this trip!

High-dollar roller, dude! :pimp: Gotta spend dat YouTube money! (yeah, all 0.00 dollars of it)

Aside from visiting with some family (that is, if they ever answer the phone), and my friends that allowed me to stay here, there is nothing to do. Will check out some of the things on BBQLS1's list.

Something seriously wrong with that map when I viewed it -- it indicated zero shootings.

Kip's cyber goons may have censored it.....

Yes- you are correct, though.....That is strange..... Maybe if they included those too they wouldn't have enough room...

Nothing unique, typical (small) city stuff. Theaters, museums, galleries, laser tag, shopping, biking, etc...

If my wife and I are board, we just go downtown and walk around. Just be sure to get outta there before sunset, particularly there by the river. People like to get shot there. The bars down there can be pretty cool, too. Check out Happy's if you like oogle.

I guess you could consider this something to do.

I think you are probably correct on both counts.
Plus, the shootings would outnumber the arrests by a large margin -- thus making bruthu Kip look even worser.

Point taken. What are some good, cheap eats?

Poor boy Lloyd's, Fat Cow or Dearman's for burgers, Superior or Coyote Blues for Mexican, the food trucks referenced above are usually pretty cheap and they tend to bring an "atmosphere" with them. Alot of chain restaurants and non-cheap ones other than that. I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty too.

Go get a drink at the Tsunami rooftop (Shaw Center for the Arts, across the street from the Old State Capitol) and enjoy the view. Don't buy food there if you wanna keep it on the cheap, tho.

If you're a runner...the lakes at City Park and LSU make Girard Park look like a paupers grave. The scenery is usually pretty good and the landscape is nice to look at also. It's a little more than 6 miles if you go around both, LSU lake is a bout 4, and City Park lake is about 2. Here's a link to a map...http://www.mapmyrun.com/s/routes/view/run-jog-map/louisiana/baton-rouge/2274852

Came here to suggest that. Used to love jogging along sorority row (well, it used to be home to sororities when my buddy went). Stepped on my tongue a few times.

one day... One day. I have a relative that lives there. If he's in town, i'll be there.
May just go one of these days to meet the nola crew.

you don't want to come around here it's so dangerous your head would fall off it's swivel and you would be out of ammo from racking fresh ones'. We don't go outside without an ak, two hand guns, four mags each, and a can of wasp spray for zombies.

Let's say I'll have a Harbor Popo escort. :) or two.
My relative would not allow me to go alone.
