National WWII Museum is incredible. Gotta give it 4 hours or so to see it all.
and every time I walk out of there I am really pissed off at the Japanese... takes another 4 hours for me to get over it.

Best Restaurant...? Stay away from the National Chains, find one, any one, that's been there for more than ten years and you will be pleased. Bad restaurants don't last in a town with that many good ones to choose from.

Very tough choice between Deanie's and Drago's! Both are very good. The D-Day museum is a must see. The aquarium is very nice and usually takes about 2 hours to work through. The zoo is nice but takes at least half a day to see. Walk Royal St during the day and check out the art museums. Grab a hurricane at Pat O's and walk the quarter. Its fairly safe during the day.
You can park on the westbank and take the ferry across and save some money on parking, plus its a nice ride.

If you are looking for a really nice but chill restaurant, Try Ralph's on the Park. You don't have to pay to park and there is never any traffic or crowds.

Cool things to do? Eat and drink and drink.

Where you do the former depends on the crowd, food and expense you want to deal with.

Where you do the latter depends on the atmosphere you're looking for-- and never, ever Bourbon unless you're going somewhere very specific.

Some details of what you prefer could lead to better recommendations. ;)

Well,if you've never been to Bourbon,go ahead and do it and find out what all the fuss is about. I work there as a house bass player wed-sun starting at 6pm except on sun...I start at 10pm. As far as eats....all depends on what you want to eat. There's literally 100s of restaurants, major ones and hole in the walls, that I can recommend. PM me if you want more info.
