I had bought some Loctite C5-A a while back for my Mosin bolt and after it was pointed out, my Remoil isin't great  , I put some of the c5 on my Tokarev slide and damn! It's as slick as greased up owl poop! Then I put it on my hi-power... Then I put it on my Sig... Then on my wife's Sig... Then on my Nagant.. Then on my tacos... no wait, scratch that last one... That stuff works great, it's thick and a little goes a looooong way! I had a tiny little .5 oz tube that I still have half left, I just bought a 4 oz tube. That stuff is awesome. My cousin, whom is affected my Glockititis, says it appears to be the same stuff Glock uses. It is way better than the CLP and Remoil on my slides. Anyone else use this stuff? I think I'm in love!

"Product C5-A is a copper based anti-seize which provides a shield against high temperature seizing and galling. Studs, bolts, flanges, gaskets--all mated parts remove more easily and in cleaner, better condition, in typical dry service temperatures from -29 to +982ºC (-20 to +1800ºF). C5-A can be used on copper, brass, cast iron, steel, all alloys including stainless steel, all plastics and all non-metallic gasketing materials."

If it is a little thick for your application you can blend in a small amount of quality oil such as Mobil 1.

For those of us who have fooled with Anti-Seize through the years, a little dab goes a long way.

I'd apply it with a Q-Tip or el--cheapo kiddie tiny paint brush.

Please realize I'm not suggesting everyone go out and start slathering your guns down with the stuff, but on every Glock I've ever bought, there's a few dabs of a copper anti-seize on the rails to serve as lubrication.

I'll post up again once I get the samples and clean out my inbox. A few of you have already jumped in on the offer.

    Team-

I just now got around to retrieving the sample bag of C5-A 1 gram samples that were delivered by mistake to a Distributor in New Iberia.

I have 100 little pouches up for grabs. Those of you who PM'd me awhile back I still have your addresses and I'll get a fistfull out to you on Friday. For anyone else who wants the very same lube Glock uses on their slides PM me your physical address and I'll get a fistfull out to you as well.

My little way of giving back to the great group of guys here on the site.

...or the dog, your old lady.

Don't even THINK about using it for "THAT" kinda lube. It burns the end and doesn't wash off in the shower.

Team-I have everything packaged up and in envelopes this morning. 16 of you have contacted me so far. I'm putting 4 or 5 gram pouches in each envelope and have roughly 30 packets still unclaimed.

Keep in mind that C5-A anti seize is the same sort of lube you see on a new Glock the first time you field strip the pistol. I wouldn't consider it a replacement for Mobil 1, Rem Oil, Chicken Snot, Monkey Lube, or Gun Gravy. So before you use it on your race gun in competition or your EDC, confirm for yourself beyond a shadow of a doubt it works without failure.

I'll keep sending them out until the bag is empty.

Just as a follow up any samples of the food grade anti seize would be Killer!

I'm not sure how its measured but for a lack of better terms do you know the practical size of the copper base VS the lithium base?
