What is everyone's thoughts on Glocks in comparison to the S&W M&P?
M&P have metal sights, as opposed to standard Glock sights. I think that's of consequence. Also, I do like the feel of the new M&P. Cycling is supposedly no issue.

What is everyone's experience, or thoughts.
    Thank you.

Never shot a full size M&P...but I have a M&P Shield and love it. All the rest are Glocks...Still, my vote would be to go w/Glock

Sold my glocks and love my M&P's! They fit better in my hand and points naturally. I just bought one in 9mm for my wife. 1911 still king though!

It's not pointless...I own Glocks. I'm trying to get a few opinions on the M&P since I'm looking to pick one up; unless are a herd of negative comments about them.

M&P are superior imo bc you can throw a apex kit in and talon grips and you got yourself a battle/competiton/plinking/home defense ready gun.... but you cant fix that grip angle and palm swell on the full sized glocks..... but as far as reliability and accuracy its a tie
note: i dont put too much thought into sights and and looks but if you do glock loses in that category too :)

I owned both, still have the Glocks.

I just shoot the Glocks better, even as a lefty just couldnt get used to the M&P. The left hand mag release was nice though.

I've got both as well. Selling my M&P to freedive10. Only reason is because there isn't an ATOM slide for the M&P and I don't want to mill it. Different strokes for different folks. Both pistols have different feels and one might feel better than the other to some ppl. Both pistols have plug-n-play accessories. Been through both armorers courses and the glock is a simpler design. They are both great pistols and IMHO can't go wrong with either.
